Coniston

The splendid village church, the resting place of the famous Coniston 'Renaissance man' Ruskin, is an enchanting place to walk around. Ruskin's former home of Brantwood (located across the lake) is also open to the public. Coniston Hall, dating from the 15th century adds yet more character to this exciting Lakeland village.
